UpTop is pleased to announce that three new partners –Taxis Bleus, Taxi2Share and Flügen Rides – joined the UpTop global taxi network.
Taxis Bleus, Taxi2Share and Flügen Rides are the latest partners to join IRU’s network providing high quality, safe, and legal taxi services to customers. Launched to the industry at the end of 2014, UpTop has since experienced steady growth and now has 22 partners from around the world.
Hubert Andela, President of the IRU Taxi Group, said, “I am very pleased to see new quality partners that represent the best of our industry joining the network and advancing its coverage and the service provided to customers. I wish Taxi2Share, Taxis Bleus and Flügen Rides a warm welcome to UpTop.”
Launched by Kunhadi, a Lebanese NGO for youth awareness on road safety, Flügen Rides app links customers with taxi drivers who have completed Kunhadi’s Road Safety Training Program and who are certified for their responsible driving and professional customer service.
Fady Gebrane, CEO of Flügen Rides, said, “Flügen Rides is pleased to join the UpTop global taxi network, a network that brings together legal, reliable and safe taxi apps around the world. By being part of the big UpTop industry chain, we are committed to improving the taxi service in Lebanon by delivering a quality taxi service that helps decrease car crashes at night.”
Based in Brussels, Taxis Bleus pays great attention to customer needs and satisfaction, their users having the possibility to use two apps for booking – Taxis Bleus and Taxi2Share – both of which have joined UpTop. The latter gives the passengers the possibility to share the taxi ride and its costs.
Michaël Marrocco, Business Developer at Taxis Bleus said, “We are happy to be part of IRU’s global network of taxi service providers and work together with the other UpTop partners on sharing best practices and improving the taxi ride experience of our users.”
