Following the example given by the US-website, created by the Taxi Limousine and Paratransit Association (TLPA), the german taxi association BZP recently launched Schwarzkonkurrenz (in English: ‘illegal competition’).
Like the US website it is meant to illustrate and publish the dangers of using shared-ride services like UberPOp/UberX or Lyft and Sidecar. Like on the American website, consumers are warmly invited to present (negative) experiences with these services. Previously the German association launched ‘Taxipedia’, a A-Z lexicon with topical information about the taxi industry, particularly aimed at politicians.
