Nissan develops prototype of self-cleaning car
The dream of every cab-driver: the self cleaning cab is getting nearer. Nissan developed a special coating which is dirt and water-resistant, bringing the self-cleaning car a step nearer. This special coating – Ultra-Ever Dry (marketed by UltraTech International) – has been applied to a Nissan Note and will be tested by the engineers in the Nissan Technical Centre Europe in the coming months.
Nissan is the first car manufacturer to apply this coating to a production vehicle, but has no plans to offer the coating for its entire model range. Instead it is thinking of offering the coating as an option.
