Ireland: Driver behaviour biggest source of taxi complaints to NTA
A freedom of information (FOI) request has revealed that issues concerning taxi driver behaviour made up the largest percentage of complaints recorded by the National Transport Authority in relation to taxi vehicles. 421 complaints in relation to taxi driver behaviour were recorded by the National Transport Authority.
The response to the request, which was submitted by the Irish Times, revealed that taxi driver behaviour accounted for 53% of the 928 complaints registered by the National Transport Authority (NTA) in 2015. 421 of 928 complaints were in relation to the behaviour of taxi drivers, while 53 complaints were in relation to the condition of the taxi vehicle.
