Hamburg’s largest taxi company, Hansa Funktaxi eG 211211 (430 taxi operators, 800 cabs, 1.200 taxi drivers), just launched its new campaign ‘Helping door’. In this campaign it donates the advertising space on the 600 rear doors of 300 taxis to charitable organisations. “For us these social activities are a socio-political duty”, said Hansa Taxi CEO Dirk Schütte at the launch of the campaign. “As a successful Hamburg company we give something back to the city that makes our success possible.”
From September 1 to Oktober 30 2014 charitable organisations can apply for these spaces on a special website. A jury then picks three organisations who can present themselves in the spring for two months on Hamburg’s streets. The jury-members are well-known people from all walks of life in Hamburg and two representatives of Hansa Taxi.
