Last year, the third International Eurasian ‘Taxi’ Forum was held in St. Petersburg.
The event was held with the support and participation of the State Duma, the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Belarus and the International Road Transport Union (IRU). On August 6 and 7 over 150 delegates debated about initiatives to improve the taxi industry in the Russian Federation.
The outcome of the Forum was a resolution, which included more than 150 initiatives developed by participants of the event and the proposals from the governments of 35 regions of the country. The resolution was agreed by the executive authorities of the Russian Federation.
The document was then sent to relevant federal legislative and executive bodies of state authority, which assessed the initiatives suggested to them. The resolution and the responses to the initiatives proposed (62 pages, in Russian), can be found here:

The active participation of the taxi operators will make sure that this year the various initiatives and the general regulation of the Russian taxi industry will again form part of the discussion. This time the fourth trade show and conference International Eurasian Taxi Forum will be held in Moscow on August 6 and 7.
