BBC-series ‘A cabbie abroad’ starts June 22
In the first of a new three-episode BBC-series ‘A cabbie abroad’, starting June 22 on BBC TV, London taxi driver Mason McQueen follows up on his Mumbai taxi driving experiences in the ‘Toughest Place to be a Taxi Driver’.
In this global taxi-driving challenge he first switches places with his 46-year old colleague Polo Doot in Cambodia’s capital Phnom Penh. McQueen not only discovers what it is to drive a converted scooter as taxi, but also what daily life is like in the city. This interesting BBC-series, with three one hour episodes is likely to be available on BBC IPlayer or is likely to be available on foreign TV-screens later this year. www.bbc.co.uk
