Christian Holzhauser new president for IRU’s TaxiGroup.

IRU’s TaxiGroup, the ‘Taxis and Hire Cars with Driver Group’, elected Austrian Mag. Christian Holzhauser as its new president for a period of 4 years. He succeeds Hubert Andela from Dutch association KNV Taxi, who led the group for nearly 11 years. Andela has recently taken up the directorship for the entire KNV association, a more time-consuming position.

Holzhauser, who is a member of the transportation sector of the Wirtschaftskammer Österreich and Wirtschaftskammer Wien, is managing director of the largest Vienna taxi radio circuit: CC Taxicenter GmbH. At the TaxiGroup he is joined by a new vice-president, Claudio Skubla, who is the secretary-general of the Svenska Taxiförbundet in Stockholm. Thomas Grätz, managing director of the German taxi-association BZP, remains as the other vice-president.
